Hello, my name is Roxy Carmichael-Hart Transportation Manager for the City of Hayward CA. I would like to know how I can get more involved in our local chapter (I have recently become a member). I am the current President of the local WTS Chapter but plan to wind down my activities as my term comes to a close. I am very strong in membership, outreach, writing and event organizing and would be happy to offer my skills to MMANC. Thank you for your consideration. Roxy

I represent Derendinger Agency, a new partner. Trying to register for October conference isn''t allowed without filling out the new member application, but I can''t find a partnership application. Also, One has to login, however, I can''t find the spot to a login user name and password to begin with. Can you show me what I''m missing? Thank you. teri

When I was registering for the annual conference, the first page shows that the price is $249, but when I add the event to my cart the price is $299 (see below). Do I need a special code to get the $249 price? 2008 Annual Conference $249.00 Sale Price! In general, online registration is a useful and important function for any event. We can''t not offer it, nor can we not offer the ability to pay by mail or in person. I had feedback from non-members that they were uncomfortable providing so much information when all they wanted to do was register for an event and pay what was owed. Some non-members told me that it was difficult to figure out where to click to begin the registration process. Some knew they needed to a non-member account, but they said it wasn''t clear where, how or when to do that. Also, it was cumbersome for one person to register him/herself and others. It was even more cumbersome to find out who was registered. Look at the final report you sent me - you don''t see the guest names for those who were registered by others.

When I renewed my membership in MMANC in the fall I included the option of joining ICMA. I seem to recall an email some months ago saying there would be a delay in new ICMA memberships. I have still never received an acknoledgement or anything from ICMA. Can you help me find out what happened.
