Where did that elephant come from? Let’s get real and talk about it!
Coming off of the invigorating topics at the Winter Forum, join Region 4 for a FUN and interactive, CGL Certified, workshop where you can develop knowledge and self-awareness on topics related to diversity and equity in the workplace (including privilege, microaggressions, and implicit bias). In the Level 1 Workshop, participants will have the opportunity to move around, challenge their thinking, and interact with other local government professionals about ways to improve communication in our workplaces and our communities.
The course is limited to 25 participants and will last for 3.5 hours. You must take the Level 1 course before taking the Level 2 course. Snacks will be provided. No host lunch is available at the Daily Grind Espresso Bar and Café connected to the Livermore Library.
This workshop will be led by Tiffany Hoang and Tyrone Botelho, Co-Founders of CircleUp Education.
