Morning Session 1: Project Management For the Rest of Us

CGL Core Certified – Project Management
Course Description: You don’t have to be a formal project manager to benefit from knowing and using core project management skills. In fact, learning and using some basic vocabulary and skills can be the key to group success! In this introductory workshop, participants will become oriented to the vocabulary and process of project management by participating in a high-energy project planning exercise. You will also learn valuable project management tools.

Instructor: Claire Laughlin, MA, is a dynamic and engaging trainer and consultant who uses experiential and innovative methods to help business leaders, teams and organizations become happy, high-energy workplaces.

Afternoon Session 2: Diversity Uncovered

CGL Elective Certified – Creating a Culture of Success
Course Description: Diversity Uncovered™ is an interactive introduction to implicit bias, microaggressions, and diversity education. This training develops a common language so that participants can understand key terms and concepts related to workplace discrimination and prejudice. Participants can explore the origins of implicit bias and how they give life to unconscious forms of discrimination, also known as microaggressions. Topics covered include social identities, inclusion, stereotypes, implicit bias, and microaggressions.
