This course will define Employee Engagement and what it looks like in the workplace. Learn the difference between engaged, disengaged, and actively disengaged employees and how they impact the workplace. Participants will learn five key ways to engage employees, as well as strategies to implement to help keep employees engaged and how to re-engage disengaged employees.
Municipal managers all need to demonstrate confidence and professionalism, whether in a presentation in front of a group of city leaders or community members, on camera for a news story, or one-on-one in a conversation. This workshop will present ideas and provide tailored strategies to help government leaders make their presentations, interviews and conversations more engaging and concise and, in turn, gain confidence in their communication and relationship-building skills.
