Assistant Chief Administrative Officer

The Chief Administrative Officer seeks an experienced and seasoned leader who fosters a collaborative work
environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals who are in the midst of a generational
shift. In order to mentor new staff, the successful candidate will have intimate knowledge of the workings
of a County Administrative Office, including county budgeting and finance; relevant laws, rules, and regulations; and liaison work with appointed and electedofficials. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take
on a wide variety of projects, work autonomously, and carry them through to completion. The County of Butte
is focused on succession planning and the ideal candidate will value their commitment and role in the County’s achievement of this goal.
