The Finance/Tax Department is responsible for the collection of property taxes, accounting services, treasury management, and financial advice to Administration and the Board of County Commissioners.

Deschutes County’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plans, coordinates, and directs the operations of the County Finance Department; This member of our leadership team assures the County’s financial health, maintains fiscal stability, invests County resources, safeguards the County’s assets; directs finance, accounting, tax collection, and payroll functions and staff and serves as Chief Tax Collector for Deschutes County. $10,153.95 to $13,607.29 per month for a 172.67 hour work month. Excellent County benefit package when eligible. This position is available immediately.
