Position Overview

The Administrative Services Officer (ASO) is a full-time, exempt role under the City Manager, overseeing financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and contract management. ​Responsibilities include managing the city budget, attending City Council meetings, and supervising finance staff. ​The ASO is expected to utilize technology effectively, particularly Microsoft Suite and Tyler Technologies. ​

Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates should have experience as an ASO, preferably within a California agency, with strong knowledge of budget processes. ​A collaborative team player with excellent customer service skills is sought, along with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications and Benefits

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting and three years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for education. ​Desirable certifications include CAP, PACE, or CMA. ​

Salary ranges from $92,646.98 to $118,243.63, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave.
