We are seeking a dynamic Senior Budget Analyst to support the Finance Department’s Budget Team, where you will be asked to support budget monitoring, development and analysis for multiple departments. You will also develop Finance policies, review and draft contracts to ensure conformance to purchasing regulations, and assist the Budget Officer with city budget coordination and the budget book preparation.

We are looking for someone to work independently to ensure success with their departmental partners. The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to communicate sophisticated budget information and translate that knowledge for large groups and one-on-one discussions.

This recruitment and examination is being conducted to fill one full-time vacancy and may be used to fill future full-time vacancies as they occur during the active status of the employment list.  The active status of this employment list will be at least 6 months unless abolished sooner or extended beyond that date in accordance with the Civil Service Rules.
