Finance & Administrative Services Director

Located 12 miles south of San Francisco, Pacifica (pop 38,600) is the most panoramic coastal town in the San Francisco Bay Area. The City enjoys a diverse economic base with tourism playing an important role in the economy. The Finance & Administrative Services Director position provides an opportunity to lead a team of 15 that provides high-quality support services to all City departments including Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced local government professional with broad administrative skills and depth in municipal financial management. A passion for team building, staff development and process improvement are prerequisites for success. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach will be critical in this role.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, including 2 years of supervision and a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in public or business administration or related field.
