The City of Rancho Cordova is seeking a Management Analyst I who serves as a community engagement professional and brings energy, creativity, and a people-first mindset to public service. This position will be the champion for community initiatives such as Neighborhood Engagement programs, neighborhood events, and other special projects.
The Position
This role supports the City’s community engagement and collaboration efforts through hands-on, people-centered work. The Management Analyst I helps facilitate communication, support community initiatives and events, and provide project and analytical support while working closely with residents, stakeholders, and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting community initiatives such as Neighborhood Engagement programs, neighborhood events, and special projects
- Assisting with planning and coordinating community events, including logistics and coordination with internal staff and community partners
- Helping facilitate community needs and interests by connecting residents to appropriate resources
- Assisting with or administering community micro-grant opportunities
- Supporting the City’s volunteer management platform
- Creating presentations, visual materials, and short videos using tools such as Canva or PowerPoint
Salary
$89,122.80 – $108,587.52 Annually, DOQ

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience, preferably in municipal government
- Experience or interest in community engagement, event coordination, or public-facing work
