Effective June 18, 2023, a 4% COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) will be added to the salary for this class.
Under supervision, a Dental Health Program Coordinator plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates dental public health programs, and implements and administers related other health programs or service delivery functions.
1. Possession of a current valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist issued by the State of California
2. Any combination of experience and education which is likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities specified for this class; a typical way to obtain these knowledge and abilities include:
a. A bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university in dental hygiene, health education, public health, or a related health field, such as health sciences or life sciences.
b. Two years experience as a registered dental hygienist in a school dental health program, public agency dental health program or a related dental health program whose primary emphasis is education and prevention.
