Assistant General Manager (Executive Officer)

The Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) is seeking an experienced, innovative individual to serve as the Department’s Chief Executive Officer. This individual will be responsible for comprehensive executive oversight and day-to-day management of existing programs, as well as planning, coordination, and implementation of new programs.

Under the direction of the General Manager, who reports to the Mayor’s Office, the Executive Officer is responsible for comprehensive executive oversight and day-to-day management of existing programs as well as implementation of new programs. The responsibilities include oversight of four other Assistant General Managers who oversee the following Bureaus: Administration, Housing Development, Regulatory Compliance and Code, and Homelessness Oversight. The Executive Officer also oversees two Directors of Housing: one responsible for carrying out functions for the Strategic Planning and Policy Division, and another overseeing the Accessible Housing Program.
