JOB OVERVIEW:
To perform skilled work in the operation and use of light and heavy construction equipment in support of activities related to construction, maintenance, and repair of District water and conveyance systems; and to perform skilled loading, transporting, hauling, scraping, grading, snow removal and related duties.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS and SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Two years of responsible heavy equipment operation experience.
Education: Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade.
Licenses: Possession of a valid California Class A driver’s license. Tank endorsement and/or Certified Crane Operator certification desirable.
Possession of a valid California Department of Public Health Water Distribution Operators Certificate, Grade 1 (D1).
