There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is added to the posted salary for this class.

Under general direction, the Chief, Consolidated Utility and Billing Service Division plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to the billing of utility accounts to County of Sacramento residents using refuse collection, wastewater treatment, water treatment, storm water drainage maintenance, and other County services.

Minimum Qualifications

Either: 1. Three years of full-time experience as a Supervising Utility Billing Service Representative within the County of Sacramento.

Or: 2. Four years of full-time experience supervising a medium sized unit (10 to 20 personnel) with supervisory responsibility for the implementation of policies, procedures, organization, and execution of programs and operations relative to billing services and/or call center operations.

Or: 3. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.

AND

Two years of supervisory/managerial experience over a medium sized unit (10 to 20 personnel) which is engaged in complex technical/analytical work with the responsibility for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, budget preparation and responsive customer service.
