There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is added to the posted salary for this class. 

Under administrative direction, manages, plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the operations and activities of the County’s Fleet Division and the Parking Enterprise. Responsibilities include a broad range of fleet management and parking functions and activities such as the inspection, maintenance and repair, utilization, disposal, and procurement of County vehicles and equipment; parking operations and facility management; and coordinating assigned activities with other divisions, departments, agencies, jurisdictions, and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications 

Five years of full-time paid management and/or supervisory experience in a fleet environment with responsibility for planning and organizing fleet operations. This experience must include responsibility for at least two of the following areas: budgeting; financial management; procurement; contract management; utilization and replacement management; asset management; or public or private parking enterprise management.

Note: Completion of coursework from an accredited college or university, or certificate program in business or public administration; fleet management; automotive or mechanical engineering or other closely related engineering coursework; or a closely related field may substitute for a maximum of two years of experience on the basis of 3.0 semester units (4.5 quarter units) = one month of work experience.
