Performance Auditor/Policy Analyst

The San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD) is renowned as one of the best community college districts in California. SMCCCD is seeking a Performance Auditor/Policy Analyst to provide independent review and analysis of various college district programs, operations, and procedures. Reporting to the Board of Trustees and the Chancellor, this position will develop findings and recommendations that support continuous improvement and effective service delivery across the district and identify strengths and weaknesses in various district programs, processes, and practices. This position is responsible for assisting the District in preparation for external performance audits and other special reports required by external entities. This is not a financial auditor position.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in public policy, public or business administration, education administration, institutional research, or a closely related field, and successful work experience of increasing responsibility conducting independent in-depth analysis of public or private entity operations, programs, and procedures.

The starting salary range for this position is $186,888—$236,772, depending upon qualifications and experience.
