Salary: $240,117.60 to $291,864.48

The Director of Health and Social Services will oversee the planning, organization, and direction of all departmental programs, including behavioral health, clinical health, and social services. This role is part of the County’s executive team and involves advising the Board of Supervisors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the department’s strategic planning and operational direction.
• Oversee the delivery of public health, behavioral health, and social service programs.
• Manage a large budget and ensure proper allocation of resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including state, federal, and local agencies.
• Supervise and mentor departmental managers and staff.

Qualifications
