Assistant Civil Engineer – This is the entry-level position in the professional engineering series. This class is distinguished from other roles in the series by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties.
Associate Civil Engineer – This is the journey-level class in the professional series and is distinguished from the Assistant level by the assignment of the full range of duties. Employees at this level receive occasional instruction or assistance. Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are normally filled by advancement from the Assistant Civil Engineer level.
Salary: Assistant Civil Engineer – $82,575.96 – $100,359.96
Associate Civil Engineer – $89,544.00 – $108,846.36
