Deputy Town Clerk/Administrative Analyst

The Town of Fairfax is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Deputy Clerk/Administrative Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our local government by providing high-level administrative support and ensuring transparency and efficiency in our municipal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of Town Council agendas, minutes, and other official documents.
  • Maintain and organize official records and documents in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to various town departments and officials.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support town projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the coordination of public meetings.
  • Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal government setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Zoom.
