2026 Tomorrow's Department Head Forum Application

The 2026 Tomorrow’s Department Head Forum will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The Forum is targeted and crafted for mid-career managers who aspire and are considering a Department Head position within the next two years. The Forum is open to individuals in Santa Clara and San Mateo County government agencies, only.

The event will feature panels of City Managers, Assistant City Managers, current Department Directors, Human Resource Directors, and an Executive Recruiter. The day will end with a networking reception.

The application deadline is October 2, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Space is limited.

Selected applicants will be notified by October 16, 2026, and will be provided a link to register, pay the $85 fee, and make lunch selections. Lunch is included with the fee.
